Winnipeg Jets Secure Two-Year Deal with Forward Morgan Barron Worth $3.7 Million

Barron, who was a restricted free agent, filed for arbitration on July 5; however, both parties reached an agreement before the hearing took place.

The Winnipeg Jets concluded the regular season by winning the Presidents’ Trophy as the league’s top team. In the playoffs, they made it to the Stanley Cup quarterfinals but were eliminated by the Dallas Stars with a series score of 2-4.
