The actress mentioned that she frequently receives inquiries regarding the romantic interests of the main characters. Purnell remarked that fans who believe in a love affair between the Ghoul and Lucy «might need therapy.» She also clarified that while the characters enjoy a great relationship, it will never evolve into a romantic one.

The plot of «Fallout» centers on Lucy, the daughter of a vault overseer, the fate of a member of the Brotherhood of Steel from the surface, and a former cowboy nicknamed Ghoul. Despite their different backgrounds, all three characters are united by a common goal. The second season premieres on December 17, and the storyline will take the characters to New Vegas, a city familiar to fans of the iconic game title Fallout: New Vegas.
