Vivo X200 Ultra Set to Launch with Groundbreaking Specs and Camera Features Outshining iPhone 16 Pro Max

Vivo X200 Ultra is set to be officially announced in China next week. Prior to the launch, a Vivo representative has shared new teasers on social media, showcasing the specs of the forthcoming device. The Vivo X200 Ultra is confirmed to feature a 2K OLED display and a robust 6,000mAh battery. This battery supports both 40W wireless and 90W wired charging. The teaser also highlights the Vivo X200 Ultra’s video recording capabilities, comparing them to those of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. It is confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

Key Specifications of the Vivo X200 Ultra

Vivo’s latest teasers on Weibo confirm that the Vivo X200 Ultra will come with a Zeiss-branded 2K OLED display protected by Armour glass. It will incorporate a 6,000mAh battery with 40W wireless and 90W wired charging capabilities, outperforming the 5,500mAh battery and 30W wireless plus 80W wired charging found in the Vivo X100 Ultra.

With a thickness of 8.69mm, the Vivo X200 Ultra is equipped with an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. It is confirmed to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

Additionally, Han Bo Xiao, Vivo’s Product Manager, has unveiled the phone’s low-light time-lapse performance. The Vivo X200 Ultra will feature an upgraded ultra-wide-angle lens purported to enable stunning time-lapse videos in 4K resolution across the full focal length. He also stated that the Vivo X200 Ultra excels beyond the iPhone 16 Pro Max in this respect, claiming it can detect variations in light and shadow across diverse scenes (translated from Chinese).

The Vivo X200 Ultra will debut in China on April 21 at 7 PM local time (4:30 PM IST). Other devices like the Vivo X200s, Vivo Pad 5 Pro, Vivo Pad SE, and Vivo Watch 5 will also be revealed during this launch event.

In recent weeks, Vivo has already highlighted some features of the Vivo X200 Ultra. It is confirmed to include a Vivo V3+ chip and a VS1 chip dedicated to imaging. The device will have a Zeiss-co-branded triple rear camera setup, featuring a telephoto lens. Additionally, an optional Photography Kit will be available.
