Although the exact launch date has not been disclosed, a company representative has shared a new teaser on Weibo, showcasing the design and certain specifications of the anticipated foldable device. It has been confirmed that the Vivo X Fold 5 will feature LTPO 8T panels for both its outer and inner screens. These panels are expected to achieve a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Additionally, the foldable device is reported to possess IP5X and IPX9+ ratings for dust and water resistance.

Han Boxiao, the Product Manager at Vivo, shared a teaser on Weibo that highlights the inner display of the Vivo X Fold 5. Both internal and external displays will utilize an 8T LTPO panel. These screens are expected to feature an adaptive refresh rate, ultra-high resolution, and high pixel density. Both panels will reportedly deliver a local peak brightness of 4,500 nits and support high-frequency PWM dimming. The foldable’s displays are claimed to have TÜV Rheinland global eye protection 3.0 certification and Zeiss Master color certification.

Moreover, the executive confirmed that the Vivo X Fold 5 is designed to withstand extreme cold. All phone functionalities are purported to remain operational even after exposure to -20°C for extended periods.
