User Growth on Sferum Surges by 40%, Reaching 35 Million Registrations

By the end of the 2024–2025 academic year, «Sferum» has registered 35 million users, marking a 40% increase compared to the previous academic year. The platform has all educators in Russia registered, totaling 2.5 million individuals. Additionally, 90,100 educational institutions, including kindergartens, schools, technical colleges, and universities, are connected to the system.

Regions with particularly high usage of «Sferum» include Tomsk, Samara, Vladimir, Kursk, Chelyabinsk, Kirov, and Tambov. The list also features the Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs, as well as the Tuva Republic.

«Sferum» enables users to communicate via chats, make calls, share educational resources, and conduct surveys. Teachers have access to enhanced features and administrative rights.

During the 2024/2025 academic year, the service facilitated 22 million calls, accumulating a total duration of 3.5 billion minutes, which is approximately equivalent to 6,762 years. In April 2025, around the time of preparations for the OGE exams, the «Student Assistant» chatbot was utilized by 250,000 users per month.

«Sferum» offers various digital educational services, including electronic diaries, an interactive whiteboard, the «Student Assistant» for exam preparation, the «Rosobrnadzor Assistant» for teacher communication, and the «Pushkin Card» chatbot, among others.

The «Rosobrnadzor Assistant» chatbot became accessible to school teachers in January 2025, and starting on March 1, educators from kindergartens and secondary vocational education institutions began using it as well. From January to May, it received 6,000 inquiries, with the most activity reported in the Volga and Siberian Federal Districts. The integration of «Sferum» with electronic journals and diaries is now operational in nearly all regions of Russia.

According to Rustam Khaibullayev, the Vice President for Strategic Projects at VK, the company has focused on enhancing «Sferum» in the 2024/2025 academic year to make the platform even more user-friendly for the entire educational community.
