Upcoming Patch for Monster Hunter Wilds Aims to Resolve DLC Check Issues on PC

Capcom has been attentive! The developers of  Monster Hunter Wilds are preparing to release a patch aimed at resolving an unusual issue related to multiple checks for DLC availability. Update 1.040.03.01 for the Steam version of the game will be available on January 28 at 05:00 Moscow time.

According to the patch notes, this update seeks to optimize «Steam-specific processes» and introduce options to lighten the load on the system.

The announcement also clarifies that internal testing has confirmed an increased CPU load when players are in the main hub or camp. Frequent status checks for unreceived content near the Support Desk can result in framerate drops in these specific areas, and this issue does not depend on the number of DLCs owned by the account.

Another patch is scheduled for February 18, which aims to enhance the game’s performance and stability. Currently, developers are testing methods to reduce pressure on the graphics card by implementing a Level of Detail (LOD) system for 3D models. This system will automatically replace distant objects with simplified versions, helping to conserve resources.
