Unveiling the Flamekeepers: New Trial League and Exciting Features in Path of Exile Expansion

Last night, the developers at Grinding Gear Games held a promised presentation for the global expansion titled “Flamekeepers” for the original  Path of Exile.

As usual, players can look forward to a new challenge league. In the storyline, Eylit has established the Order of Flamekeepers with the goal of permanently eliminating the threat posed by the Masters of the Rift. Gamers will join her mission, defending Eylit from waves of deadly monsters while she channels power into the Flame to cleanse the lands of invaders. The league will have several versions with varying difficulty levels, but the core mechanics and rewards will remain consistent across all of them.

In the Flamekeepers’ Monastery, players will gain access to the Birth Tree, where they can “nurture” various rewards, including currency, unique items, gear, and a new type of otherworldly objects known as “Grafts.” With these “Grafts,” heroes can attach extra limbs to their bodies, granting them powers from the Rift itself.

For all the details on the upcoming content, you can check out the extensive patch notes available on the PoE website. Below, we’ve compiled some of the most noteworthy highlights:

The “Flamekeepers” expansion will launch on October 31 at 10:00 PM Moscow time, simultaneously on PC and consoles.
