Unveiling Samson: The Ambitious Debut from the Creator of Just Cause

In December 2020, former head of Avalanche Studios and creator of the Just Cause series, Christofer Sundberg, established an independent studio called Liquid Swords. Five years later, the studio announced its debut project, Samson, a thrilling third-person action game set in an urban environment.

The game follows the story of Samson McRae, a man with a shattered destiny who delves into the criminal underworld to settle his mounting debts. Following the release of the first trailer, the developers addressed the most frequently asked questions from players.

The release of Samson is scheduled for early 2026 and will be available exclusively on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). Eventually, the game will also reach current-generation consoles.
