Unlocking AI Potential: Google Rolls Out Gemini 2.5 Pro for All Users, Free Experimentation Awaits!

Users of Gemini who do not have a paid subscription can now experiment with Google’s latest creation, the experimental edition of Gemini 2.5 Pro. The tech giant made an announcement over the weekend stating that it has made Gemini 2.5 Pro (experimental) accessible to all users, though non-paying users will have stricter rate limits. Just a week ago, Google launched Gemini 2.5 Pro, promoting it as its “most advanced AI model” to date, and it was first released to Gemini Advanced users. It is currently available in both Google AI Studio and the Gemini app.

While free users can also test it now, Google indicated that “Gemini Advanced users enjoy greater access and a noticeably larger context window.” The experimental version of Gemini 2.5 Pro is the inaugural model in Google’s Gemini 2.5 series of “thinking” models, which aim to provide more precise outcomes based on reasoning. In a blog entry, the company detailed that this signifies its capability to assess data, derive logical deductions, integrate context and subtleties, and make well-informed choices.
