Acer announced its latest series of QD-OLED gaming monitors on Monday, which includes the Predator X32 X2 and Predator X27U X1 models. Designed specifically for gamers, these monitors utilize advanced quantum dot and OLED technologies to provide exceptional color accuracy and contrast ratios, all while being more energy efficient than their LCD counterparts. The new monitors are offered in 31.5-inch and 26.5-inch sizes, boasting a maximum resolution of 4K, refresh rates up to 240Hz, and compatibility with AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro feature.

Availability and Pricing of Acer Predator X32 X2, Predator X27U X1

The price of the Acer Predator X27U X1 is set at $599.99 (approximately Rs. 51,000) in the US and EUR 699 (around Rs. 64,500) in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In contrast, the Predator X32 X2 is priced at $999.99 (about Rs. 85,000) in the US and EUR 1,199 (roughly Rs. 1,10,700) in the EMEA region.

Both models are available for purchase in the US and are expected to launch in the EMEA region starting June 2025.

Specifications for Acer Predator X32 X2, Predator X27U X1

The Acer Predator X32 X2 gaming monitor features a 31.5-inch UHD (3840×2160 pixels) QD-OLED display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Conversely, the Predator X27U X1 comes with a 26.5-inch WQHD (2560×1440) display, also maintaining the same aspect ratio. According to the manufacturer, both models achieve a native brightness of 250 nits and peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

These monitors refresh at 240Hz and include a Dynamic Refresh Rate function. With a response time of 0.03 ms, and integrating AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology, they aim to provide smooth, artifact-free visuals, effectively reducing blur and screen tearing.

The new Acer Predator QD-OLED gaming monitors are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified and reportedly cover 99 percent of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. They feature HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort options, ensuring compatibility with gaming consoles and PCs.

Acer has also designed these gaming monitors with an ergonomic stand that allows for tilt, swivel, and height adjustments. Additionally, the BlueLightShield Pro technology is claimed to help prevent eye strain during extended gaming sessions. Furthermore, the Acer Predator X32 X2 and Predator X27U X1 provide picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture capabilities for enhanced multitasking, as stated by the company.
