UFC Rankings Update: Adesanya Falls Out of Top 5 for the First Time Since 2019

The UFC press office has released the updated rankings following the recent UFC Fight Night 262 event, which took place in Vancouver, Canada.

American fighter **Brendan Allen** moved into the fifth position in the middleweight rankings after defeating **Reinier de Ridder**, who dropped to eighth place as a result. Additionally, **Anthony Hernandez** has pushed former UFC champion from Nigeria, **Israel Adesanya**, out of the top 5 for the first time since spring 2019, despite not securing a victory in his latest fight.

It’s also worth mentioning that Canadian fighter **Mike Malott** has entered the top 15 of the welterweight division, taking the final spot in the rankings after winning a unanimous decision against American **Kevin Holland**.

In the bantamweight rankings, Canadian representative **Aymann Zahabi** ascended to seventh place following his split decision victory over Ecuadorian fighter **Marlon Vera**.
