Ubisoft Set to Unveil Second Story DLC for The Division 2 on April 23rd

Fans of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, get ready: the highly anticipated expansion Battle for Brooklyn is set to emerge from the shadows soon. The shooter’s X account announced that a livestream will take place on April 23, showcasing the DLC in all its glory. This marks the first major narrative expansion since Warlords of New York, which was released back in 2020.

Originally scheduled for release in 2024 as part of the fifth year of support, the developers decided to postpone it to focus on enhancing the overall quality of the game. As a trade-off, the project received new patches and events, including themed activities like February’s “Valentine’s Projects Chain.”

Now, “Battle for Brooklyn” is slated for 2025, promising a return to a familiar area of New York from the original The Division. A short teaser has revealed an autumn vibe, new enemies, and the series’ signature combat.

Social media speculation, drawing from previous DLC release patterns in Ubisoft projects and in-game hints, suggests that the expansion could be released between May 27 and June 10. However, these are merely assumptions, and the exact date will be announced during the showcase. The developers promise to share a link to the stream and the starting time soon via their official social media channels.
