Tursunov Discusses Mirra Andreyevas Prospects at the 2025 WTA Finals

Former world No. 20 and current coach **Dmitry Tursunov** expressed his thoughts on the potential participation of 18-year-old Russian player and fifth-ranked player in the world, **Mira Andreyeva**, in the WTA Finals 2025, scheduled to take place from November 1 to 8 in Riyadh. While Mira hasn’t officially qualified for the singles event yet, she will definitely compete in doubles alongside Diana Schneider.

«It seems like Mira is heading to the Finals. Both Paolini and Rybakina need to surpass her, but it’s unlikely that both will manage that, especially since they are up against the world No. 1 and No. 2 (referring to the upcoming quarter-finals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Wuhan). However, this is a challenge that both are capable of handling.

Mira will be participating in both singles and doubles at the Finals, and we’ll see how she copes with challenges that players like Krejcikova and Gauff have faced in the recent past. I expect her to find it challenging, and she will likely perform better in doubles…,» Tursunov shared on his Telegram channel.
