«I will do everything I can to be ready for Rome, but my main goal is to arrive at Roland Garros strong and healthy. It’s hard to accept this situation. After taking a break last year, I returned feeling happier, clearer, and more motivated. The results haven’t come yet, but I truly believe in the path I’m on. This current situation is painful, but I will use it as motivation to come back even stronger,» Garcia wrote on her social media.

It’s worth noting that Garcia withdrew from her first-round match at the WTA 500 tournament in Rouen, France, where she was set to face Russian player Anna Blinkova. As of now, she holds the 99th position in the WTA rankings.
