Three Russian Boxers Advance to the Semifinals of the 2025 World Boxing Championship

Russian boxer **Ismail Mutsolgov**, competing in the 75 kg weight class, secured a unanimous decision victory (5:0) over Scottish fighter Alan Perry in the quarterfinals of the World Boxing Championship currently taking place in the UAE.

Additionally, Russian athlete **Evgeny Kool** also won by a unanimous decision (5:0) against Azerbaijani representative Zaur Gahramanov in a bout held in the 67 kg category.

Furthermore, **Vsevolod Shumkov** achieved a unanimous decision win (5:0) against Brazilian boxer Arilson da Silva Gonsalves, with their match occurring in the 60 kg weight class. As a result, all the aforementioned Russian boxers have advanced to the semifinals of the tournament.

It’s important to note that the World Championship is organized under the auspices of the International Boxing Association (IBA). The competition commenced on December 2 and will continue until the 13th. Russian athletes are competing with national symbols, and boxers from over 120 countries are taking part in the tournament.
