THQ Nordic Hints at Sacred 4 Development Tied to Upcoming Remaster Release

In just a few days, THQ Nordic will launch a remaster of the isometric action RPG, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, which seemingly holds the key to the future of the entire franchise. This was almost directly stated by one of the founders of the Sacred series, Franz Stradal, in a recent development diary.

In a new video, Stradal briefly discussed the features of the remaster and shared the ambitions of the new team.

It’s reasonable to assume that the remaster’s success will influence the future of a potential Sacred 4. Meanwhile, alongside the video diary, the developers released a written piece on Steam detailing the technical aspects of Sacred 2 Remaster.

Sacred 2 Remaster is set to launch on November 11 for PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, though it will not include a Russian localization.
