The Last of Us Part II Remastered Now Fully Verified for Steam Deck Playability

Just a couple of days before the release of the PC version of The Last of Us Part II Remastered, the developers at Naughty Dog shared some exciting news for owners of the portable Valve console— the game has received full verification on the Steam Deck. This means it should perform smoothly on the portable’s lower-end hardware without any issues or the need for extensive configuration.

The complete system requirements for the PC version were revealed a couple of weeks back. As a reminder, the updated version will include all previously released content along with a multitude of new features such as additional characters and maps for the «No Return» mode, support for ultra-wide monitors, as well as compatibility with NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3.1, and AMD FSR 4 technologies.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered will be released on PC (Steam, EGS) on April 3 at 8:00 PM Moscow time. Linking a PSN account is not mandatory. Instead of making it compulsory, Sony opted to keep this feature as an option, granting Ellie a cosmetic bonus in the form of the main character’s jacket from Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
