Telegram Users Report Issues Following Major Update 11.12

On June 3, Telegram rolled out a significant update, version 11.12. Following this release, users began to report issues with the messenger on both Windows and MacOS platforms.

Specifically, many users have shared on social media that the app crashes when they attempt to right-click on a sent message, which creates challenges when interacting with it. Some experience crashes when trying to access channels or public groups with a high volume of unread messages, as well as when replacing media in posts.

In such instances, the application stops working, displays an error message, and then checks for any available updates.

Meanwhile, Telegram’s founder Pavel Durov made a post regarding the update, mentioning that developers have been receiving positive feedback from large channel and group owners.

In version 11.12 of Telegram, it has become possible to send messages to channels, switch more quickly between topics in groups, trim voice messages, and send photos in high resolution.
