Tashuev: No Surprise at Fakels Top Position Thanks to Last Year’s Preserved Budget

The former head coach of «Fakel,» Sergey Tashuev, expressed that he is not surprised by the team’s first-place position in the Pari League this season. The squad, led by Oleg Vasilenko, has accumulated 30 points in 14 matches.

“I’m not at all astonished by Fakel’s performance. From what I understand, they have maintained the budget from last year, which is a testament to the management’s efforts. The roster is quite solid, allowing them to be competitive. The team is showing progressive development, and the regional leader is backing the club,” Tashuev stated in an interview with Championship correspondent Maria Kutsubeeva.

During the current season, «Fakel» announced the resignation of Igor Shalimov, who was succeeded by Vasilenko.
