Syberia Remastered Launches to Mixed Reviews Amid Technical Critiques

Last night, the team at Microids, in collaboration with Virtuallyz Gaming, released Syberia Remastered — a refreshed version of the iconic Point & Click adventure game Syberia. The launch was fairly modest, with the peak online player count on Steam barely surpassing 650 within the first 24 hours, and the game currently holds a ‘mixed’ rating of 59%.

It’s worth mentioning that the remastered edition boasts improved graphics, revamped puzzles, a new user interface, and enhanced controls in 3D space. Some players have voiced concerns regarding technical issues, criticizing elements such as the clunky animations of the main character, a lackluster upscale of the original cutscenes, the absence of manual save options, and various bugs.

Ll, “thumbs down”

Syberia Remastered is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, featuring full Russian localization.
