Sucker Punchs Boss Believes the Studio Will Continue Its One-Game-at-a-Time Approach

Many large companies work on multiple projects simultaneously, but **Sucker Punch** has no intention of following that trend. Co-founder and team leader **Brian Fleming** shared his thoughts on the matter.

In an interview with [Video Games Chronicle](https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/sucker-punch-will-remain-a-single-project-studio-after-ghost-of-yotei-boss-suggests/), the head of the studio pointed out that **Sucker Punch** is still quite a small studio by AAA industry standards. The team plans to decide on their next game in 2026, after releasing the online expansion **Legends** for [Ghost of Yōtei](https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/sucker-punch-will-remain-a-single-project-studio-after-ghost-of-yotei-boss-suggests/).

In 2027, Fleming’s studio will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Some gamers are hopeful that **Sucker Punch** might revive franchises like **inFamous** and **Sly Cooper**. When asked about this possibility, the expert responded noncommittally, stating that the company’s staff has changed significantly, and a drastic shift in direction could lead to the departure of team members who are not interested in tackling something entirely new.

Recall that in early October, **Sony** and **Sucker Punch** released the open-world action game **Ghost of Yōtei**. Critics received this sequel to [Ghost of Tsushima](https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/sucker-punch-will-remain-a-single-project-studio-after-ghost-of-yotei-boss-suggests/) favorably, with its average score exceeding 85 out of 100.
