South Park Characters Join Fortnite Tomorrow: A New Collaboration Unveiled

Do you remember **»South Park»?** The creators of [**Fortnite**](https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/p/fortnite) surely do—**Epic Games** and **South Park Studios** have unveiled the first [trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13QoRmIFK0c) for the South Park x Fortnite collaboration. The iconic animated series is set to merge with the battle royale this week. The event kicks off tomorrow, January 9, and will last until February 5.

**Fortnite** will feature Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, and Butters. Each character has been given unique “mecha-skins” that reference the show. Epic employs this format for characters with atypical proportions, ensuring consistent hitboxes across all skins in the game.

As part of the event, a new point of interest named Cartmanland will be added to the map. Unlike the crossover with **The Simpsons**, which altered the entire island, this will only affect a specific area.

Additionally, the update introduces a significant gameplay change: for the first time, **Fortnite** will feature squads of five players temporarily. In the trailer’s storyline, Butters isn’t selected for the standard squad, prompting his alter ego Professor Chaos to redefine the rules using the Stick of Truth.

The game will also include themed items, such as cheese puffs. Furthermore, iconic characters like Towelie will make cameo appearances in Cartmanland. While there are no details yet about additional skins, considering the scale of past collaborations, it’s highly probable they’ll make an appearance.

Players can enjoy the chance to punish the eternal fourth graders and shout, “They killed Kenny!” on PC ([Epic Games Store](https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/fortnite)), Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
