Sound Revamps Its Website with Enhanced User-Centric Features

The music service «Zvuk» has launched an updated version of its website. According to the service, users participated in the development of the new site version. Beta testing began in September 2024, where users shared feedback, suggested enhancements, and helped create a site that truly meets their needs. For instance, the revamped site now features a movable mini-player, the ability to search from any page, and seven new color themes chosen by the users themselves. This information was shared with the Habra news service by Zvuk’s press office.

The new homepage is designed based on user preferences, offering personalized recommendations and «waves» based on tracks, artists, genres, moods, settings, and saved playlists, alongside daily playlists and editorial selections. The dynamic recommendation folder is crafted with thoughtful logic and an aesthetically pleasing interface, setting it apart from other services.

The «Favorites» tab has become more intelligent, offering new tracks based on what users already enjoy.

A dedicated button has been added for the children’s section, allowing parents to easily switch between modes. Additionally, the music service customizes the entire children’s area based on the individual child’s needs. The search function has also been improved, now suggesting the best results even with vague queries.

A minimalist full-screen player has been introduced, allowing users to view song lyrics, expand the playlist with queued tracks, or access a recommended wave for the currently playing artist.

In the «Popular» section, users can find unique playlists, selections from the music editorial team, exclusive audiobooks, and original podcasts. Additionally, a new radio block has been introduced.

The «News» page has been upgraded to be more functional, featuring tabs with clear navigation and timely updates, making it easier for users to keep track of updates from friends they follow.

Acting General Director and Product Director of «Zvuk»

«The website update is aimed at offering even more customization so users can enjoy music and other audio content in any situation: listening at home through SberBoom smart speakers, on the road with CarPlay or Android Auto, playing tracks in the app while jogging, or using the web version for better focus while working on their computers. With the help of personalization algorithms, ‘Zvuk’ will suggest content that fits the moment. It’s important for us that tracks find their listeners, adapting to their context, mood, and tastes.»

Soon, every user will have access to personalized statistics, showcasing a customized top list of songs and artists. Furthermore, the Zvuk team is working on a dislike button, and in response to user requests, a drag-and-drop feature for tracks in the queue will be available.
