Sneak Peek: Leaked Render Reveals Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7s Rear Camera Design Ahead of July Launch

It is speculated that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be revealed in July during Samsung’s second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2025, where it will be showcased alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Although Samsung has not yet acknowledged the device’s presence, information regarding the upcoming foldable phone is gradually surfacing online. A recent leaked render provides us with an initial glimpse of the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s design, following a report that disclosed its measurements. The leak prominently features the phone’s rear camera configuration. 

The Initial Visual of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Has Leaked

A user on Weibo has posted what is claimed to be a render of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. While the original post on Weibo has since been removed, which adds credibility to the leak, insiders were able to take a screenshot before it vanished.

The leaked visual reveals the back design of the forthcoming smartphone, showcasing a well-known vertical triple camera setup. The render suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may not exhibit significant aesthetic changes from its predecessor. Additionally, the phone depicted in the render appears to be a dummy unit. 

 

 

The recently leaked image of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which features a newly placed flash, supports previous speculations regarding an enhanced camera system. These design alterations hint at the integration of a larger sensor, likely a 200-megapixel primary camera.

Earlier this week, another leak indicated the design and dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It is rumored that this device will become the globe’s thinnest foldable smartphone upon its launch, measuring a mere 3.9mm when unfolded and 8.9mm when folded. It is expected to include a 4,400mAh battery and feature an edge-to-edge cover screen.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 is anticipated to be launched in July. It is expected to utilize a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy SoC with 12GB of RAM. The device is rumored to retain the 25W wired charging capability of its predecessors. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to commence at Rs. 1,64,999 for the entry-level 12GB + 256GB version.
