SKA Triumphs Over Eastern Leader Metallurg, Reclaims Playoff Spot

In Saint Petersburg, at the Ice Palace, another match of the KHL regular season took place between SKA and Metallurg Magnitogorsk. The game ended with a victory for the home team, 4-3.

For the army club, the goals were scored by Nikita Dishkovsky, Igor Larianov Jr., Rocco Grimaldi, and Egor Zelonov. On the other side, Metallurg’s Vladimir Tkachyov, Alexander Petunin, and Derek Barach found the net.

This defeat halted Metallurg’s five-match winning streak. Following their victory, SKA re-entered the playoff zone in the Western Conference, moving up to seventh place.

In their next KHL matchup, SKA will face CSKA in away game on November 24. Metallurg Magnitogorsk is scheduled to play against local team Traktor in Chelyabinsk on November 18.
