Russias Wealthiest Woman Resolves Divorce After High-Stakes Corporate Conflict

Tatiana Kim, the founder of the online retailer Wildberries and the richest woman in Russia, along with her former spouse Vladislav Bakalchuk, has reached a resolution in their high-profile divorce case, as reported by a Moscow court on Thursday.

Since their divorce was finalized in February 2025, the couple has been engaged in a dispute over property, following the controversial merger of Wildberries—Russia’s largest online retailer—with the outdoor advertising firm Russ Group.

The asset division is said to have included shares in the newly merged entity, real estate located in the Moscow area, and various other investments. Reports indicate that a court had ordered Bakalchuk to pay Kim $2.6 million after determining that the value of the assets allocated to him exceeded his equitable share.

While the precise details of the settlement announced on Thursday have not been disclosed, Kim stated that the agreement was «satisfactory for both parties.»

«I am pleased that we could reach a compromise. This reflects a mature approach,» she commented.

Bakalchuk’s Telegram account hinted that he might reveal the specifics in a forthcoming statement.

The corporate conflict surrounding the merger between Wildberries and Russ Group garnered public attention from notable personalities, including Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, and escalated into a tragic incident at the company’s offices in September 2024, resulting in two fatalities.

At 50 years old, Kim boasts a net worth of $4.6 billion, making her one of only four female billionaires in Russia.
