Russias National Football Team Draws Nearly 250,000 Fans in 2025 Friendly Matches

In 2025, friendly matches played by the Russian national football team attracted a total of 247,935 fans, as reported by the team’s press service. It was noted that, on average, each of the eight home matches saw an attendance of 30,991 spectators.

Throughout the year, the national team of Russia played 10 friendly games, with eight held on home soil. The team also played once in both Minsk and Doha. The last match of the year, managed by Valery Karpin, took place on November 15 in Sochi, where the team lost to Chile (0-2). This defeat marked the first for the Russian side since November 2021.

The match with Nigeria was the most attended, drawing in 45,638 spectators at Luzhniki Stadium in June.
