Russian Figure Skaters Prepare to Appeal Neutral Status Denial at CAS

Russian figure skaters, who were denied neutral status by the International Skating Union (ISU), are considering the possibility of appealing this decision at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne. Preparations for the necessary documents are already underway. This information was reported by «Sport-Express,» citing a source.

It is worth noting that just a few days ago, it was revealed that the ISU did not grant neutral status to any Russian skaters competing in pairs and ice dance. According to several sources, the first applicants in the pairs category were **Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov**, and in ice dance, **Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin**.

Due to their disqualification, the applications of dancers Vasilisa Kaganovskaya and Maxim Nekrasov, as well as the pair Alexandra Boikova and Dmitry Kozlovski, were not considered.

The ISU itself stated that an appeal against their decision is not possible. However, the December document regarding eligibility does include this option.
