Revolutionizing Ad Creation: TikTok Unveils Three AI Tools for Effortless Content Generation

TikTok has unveiled three new artificial intelligence-powered tools designed to automate video creation, making it easier for brands to develop advertising content for the platform.

The new «Image to Video» feature transforms static images, like product photos or brand visuals, into five-second videos. Advertisers can upload an image, add a brief text caption, and the AI will generate multiple video variations. These can be used independently or combined into a longer video.

Another feature, «Text to Video,» allows advertisers to create videos solely from text, without using images or templates. TikTok claims this tool is useful for quickly testing and refining campaign ideas before full-scale production begins.

The third tool, «Product Showcase,» merges product images with digital avatars. Advertisers can utilize avatars that hold products, try on clothing, or demonstrate apps on smartphones, crafting more dynamic ads reminiscent of user-generated content.

TikTok is collaborating with Adobe to integrate the «Image to Video» feature directly into [Adobe Express](https://www.adobe.com/express/), Adobe’s social media design platform. Symphony’s features will also be incorporated into [WPP Open](https://www.wpp.com/wpp-open), WPP’s AI-driven marketing suite.

Videos created with Symphony will be automatically tagged as AI-generated. Starting May 2024, TikTok will be part of industry groups [CAI](https://contentauthenticity.org/) and [C2PA](https://c2pa.org/). According to TikTok, every step of content creation—from uploading images to writing prompts and generating final videos—undergoes several safety checks. The company has not disclosed which AI models are used in Symphony.

TikTok, owned by the Chinese company ByteDance Ltd., first launched [Symphony](https://the-decoder.com/tiktok-launches-ai-video-tool-for-advertisers/) and [AI avatars](https://the-decoder.com/tiktok-introduces-ai-avatars-for-advertising/) in 2024. These three new features will be rolled out worldwide in the TikTok Symphony Creative Studio in the coming weeks.

The research team at ByteDance has played a crucial role in developing generative video AI. Earlier this year, they introduced a series of Goku models designed for creating user-generated content with human avatars. This technology likely underpins TikTok’s latest tools. Recently, ByteDance showcased [Seedance 1.0](https://the-decoder.com/bytedances-seedance-1-0-is-trading-blows-with-googles-veo-3/), a video model that competes with [Google Veo 3](https://the-decoder.com/googles-veo-3-fast-now-generates-720p-ai-videos-at-more-than-double-the-previous-speed/).
