Revolutionary Dual-Motor Electric Scooter Turbo by bo: 24 kW Power and 160 km/h Speed Unleashed

The company bo has unveiled the Turbo electric scooter, equipped with a dual-motor powertrain delivering a total output of 24 kW. The manufacturer claims that this vehicle can achieve an impressive top speed of 160 km/h.

Housed in an aircraft-grade aluminum frame, the scooter features a power-to-weight ratio that surpasses that of the Bugatti Veyron, along with an 1800 Wh battery. The Turbo does not merely accelerate; it propels users forward with remarkable force. The design has been crafted in collaboration with racing experts.

bo explained that they partnered with leading engine developer Rage Mechanics to create a powerful dual-motor control system.

The manufacturer states that the scooter is well-balanced and equipped with soft yet grippy brakes. The Turbo comes with front and rear four-piston Hope V4 disc brakes featuring floating rotors designed for efficient cooling during repeated heavy braking.

Additionally, the Turbo incorporates air intakes based on Formula 1 brake cooling systems to prevent overheating of the motors and controllers.

The price for the Turbo electric scooter is set at $30,000 for pre-orders as part of a limited edition.

“This distinctive vehicle pushes the boundaries of what’s possible and demands exceptional technical innovations. Turbo is a challenge that resonates with the former racing team at bo, and a very limited number of orders are being accepted to support its production,” stated the electric scooter manufacturer.

bo maintains that a specially trained rider managed to reach speeds exceeding 137 km/h during preliminary testing on a racetrack in Goodwood using the Turbo.
