The free-to-play strategy game Resident Evil: Survival Unit has a release date – it is set to launch in just a week. It’s worth noting that the teams behind the game’s development are Aniplex and JOYCITY, while Capcom is involved only in a limited capacity.

Resident Evil: Survival Unit will debut on November 17

on iOS and Android, but due to Moscow time, it will actually be available from 05:00 MSK on November 18. Pre-registration is currently open in several countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Serbia. In certain regions, the strategy will only be released in early 2026, such as in South Korea, Vietnam, and Indonesia. According to the latest information, there are no plans to launch Resident Evil: Survival Unit in Russia.

In Survival Unit, players control an unnamed protagonist in an alternate timeline, as they navigate through key events from the Resident Evil series. The primary gameplay involves building a base and sending both well-known and lesser-known characters from the franchise on various missions. While exploring the map for resources, players will occasionally encounter groups of survivors, with whom they can choose to ally or battle.
