Red Bulls Technical Director Offers Bleak Outlook for Season Start After Bahrain Tests

The Technical Director of Red Bull, Pierre Wache, shared his thoughts on the competitive landscape in the Formula 1 grid following the pre-season tests in Bahrain.

«The first day went well. However, on the second day, we struggled to find the right setup. We encountered some issues, making it difficult to assess our competitiveness. I believe it will be a tightly contested season. Right now, it feels like we might not be as fast as we’d like, but we’ll see how things unfold. It appears that McLaren and Ferrari seem to have the edge in speed,» Wache told RacingNews365.

For reference, the pre-season tests took place in Bahrain from February 26 to February 28. The new Formula 1 season will kick off with the Australian Grand Prix, the first race taking place on March 16.
