Polish Parliament Reacts to GTA VI Delay: A Political Matter Worth Discussing

It seems that the unfortunate news about the postponement of Grand Theft Auto VI has spread well beyond gaming communities. Polish lawmakers have also noticed that the release date has shifted again, and they clearly aren’t pleased about it.

Recently, Rockstar Games announced that the long-awaited GTA VI has been delayed once more, now scheduled for November 19, 2026. This marks the third time the game has been postponed, first moving from 2025 to May 2026, and now pushed back six additional months.

Witold Tumanowicz, a member of the Confederation of Freedom and Independence, took to the podium to share this «concerning news.» In a clip that quickly went viral, he addressed the audience with a (nearly) serious demeanor, stating:

Unexpectedly, he received support from his colleague from the Law and Justice party, Paweł Szrot, who responded: «I appreciate such statements, Mr. Deputy.»

The internet swiftly picked up on the moment — gamers worldwide are joking that the disappointment over the delay of GTA VI has officially entered the political arena. One X user remarked: «Even parliaments are waiting for GTA VI. Now that’s what I call a truly iconic series.»

Indeed, no other game elicits such a fervent response. Even the anticipation for The Elder Scrolls VI pales in comparison to the eagerness people have for the sixth installment of «Grand Theft Auto.» And now, it seems that Polish Sejm members will be waiting alongside fans for GTA VI.
