Pistiolis: Uhov Embodies the CSKA Mindset, Delighted to Retain a Key Player

The head coach of Moscow’s CSKA, **Andreas Pistiolis**, commented on the recent signing of a new contract by 29-year-old Russian offensive defender **[Ivan Ukhov](https://www.cska.ru/en/players/9549-ivan-ukhov/)**.

“I’m pleased that we’ve retained a key member of our team’s core. Vanya embodies the mentality and values of CSKA, and I look forward to the battles we will face together ahead,” Pistiolis stated, according to the CSKA press service.

Ukhov has been a part of CSKA since 2018. Prior to joining, he played for Perm’s **Parma**. As a CSKA player, he has won the Euroleague title and is a four-time champion of the VTB United League. Additionally, he ranks 11th in the club’s history for the number of games played, with a total of 327 appearances.

During the 2024/2025 season of the VTB United League, the Russian athlete participated in 50 games. On average, he scored 5.4 points per game, grabbed 2.9 rebounds, provided 2.0 assists, and made 1.1 steals.
