OnePlus Unveils Nationwide Expansion of Convenient Device Repair Services, Reaching Over 19,000 Locations in India

OnePlus revealed on Thursday that it will be broadening its doorstep pickup and drop service throughout India. This expansion will now encompass over 19,000 PIN codes across the nation, making it easier for customers to have their OnePlus products repaired without leaving their residences. The initiative aims to enhance the company’s customer service, particularly in tier 2 and tier 3 cities in India. Additionally, OnePlus has launched the OnePlus Service Camp, allowing users with out-of-warranty devices to get specific repairs done without any service fees.

Expansion of OnePlus Doorstep Pickup and Drop Service

According to a press release, OnePlus mentioned that its pickup and drop service is now available in more than 19,000 PIN codes across India. The company claims its customer service experience is supported by multiple channels, including dedicated call centers, email support, live chat, and verified assistance on WhatsApp.

To utilize the pickup and drop service, follow these steps:

  1. Log in with your registered account on the OnePlus website
  2. Complete the service request form, review the service fees and repair prices, then submit
  3. Request the pickup service to send your device to the service center
  4. Your device will be repaired after inspection. Retrieve it from your doorstep once it is delivered

The company recommends that users back up their OnePlus devices prior to sending them for repairs to prevent any possible data loss.

Importantly, the service expansion stems from user feedback and community-oriented improvements, as stated by the company. This initiative is part of Project Starlight, a three-phase strategy introduced in December 2024.

“This growth in customer service is a crucial element of our long-term aspirations in India, enabling more users to receive timely, clear, and reliable support,” said Robin Liu, CEO of OnePlus India, in a statement.

OnePlus emphasized its commitment to enhancing the customer service experience, improving product durability, and addressing display and other issues that might arise from harsh weather conditions. Under Project Starlight, the Chinese manufacturer plans to invest Rs. 6,000 crore to further its customer service objectives in India.

Introduction of the OnePlus Service Camp

The company highlighted its goal of expanding its service network to cover over 400 cities in all 28 states of India within the next five years.
