NVIDIA Set to Skyrocket RTX 5090 Price to Astounding $5000, Reports Say

The company NVIDIA may significantly increase the price of its flagship graphics card, the GeForce RTX 5090. This information has been reported by the South Korean publication Newsis, citing its sources.

According to the portal, NVIDIA is planning to raise prices by two and a half times, going from $1,999 (approximately 160,000 rubles) to $4,999 (around 400,000 rubles). The spike in costs is attributed to the rising price of memory driven by the AI boom and global inflation. This situation may also affect more affordable models such as the RTX 5080, RTX 5070, and RTX 5060.

Additionally, it is rumored that AMD will also be increasing its graphics card prices, although insiders have no concrete information on this. Newsis notes that the price adjustment for the RTX 5090 is expected to take place by the end of January. It remains unclear whether this will be an immediate drastic hike or a gradual increase throughout 2026.
