Nvidia CEO: Your Job Loss Will Stem from AI Users, Not AI Itself

The founder and CEO of Nvidia, Jensen Huang, shared his perspective on the current job market as artificial intelligence increasingly integrates into everyday life. «You won’t lose your job because of AI; you’ll lose it due to those who use it,» Huang stated at the Milken Institute conference.

Huang further commented, «I wholeheartedly recommend leveraging AI to its fullest; don’t be the person who overlooks its potential.»

He also encouraged anyone who is new to AI or just starting to engage with it to explore AI-driven solutions like Perplexity, Gemini Pro, and OpenAI’s ChatGPT, while gaining knowledge about its various applications across different fields.

Huang explained that he personally uses AI on a daily basis, primarily as a tutor or guide in unfamiliar areas. «When I encounter something new, I ask the chatbot, ‘Explain this to me as if I were a 12-year-old,’ and gradually request more advanced insights,» Huang shared.

He emphasized that artificial intelligence represents «the greatest opportunity» for humanity to bridge the technological divide. «In this room, probably only a small number of people know how to program in C++. However, 100% of you can program with AI because it understands any language you wish to use… Don’t be the person who disregards this technology and misses out on the benefits,» Huang concluded.
