It is reported that the player’s decision is firm and not open to reconsideration. His contract with the Blues runs until 2029, and discussions are ongoing.

In the current Premier League season, which marks his second year with Chelsea, the 27-year-old Nkunku has appeared in 27 matches, scoring three goals and providing two assists. Additionally, he has played 11 games in the UEFA Europa Conference League, netting seven goals and registering three assists, along with two appearances and one goal in the FA Cup.

At present, Chelsea holds the fifth position in the Premier League standings, accumulating 60 points after 34 matches.
