Nintendo Unveils New Trailer for Super Mario Galaxy: The Movie

As promised, today the staff at **Nintendo** held a brief **Direct** presentation focused entirely on the upcoming animated film, **»Super Mario Galaxy»**.

During the 5-minute showcase, the company unveiled a **new trailer**. The clip depicts Mario and Luigi entering dark ruins to confront a terrifying monster, but instead of a beast, they encounter the friendly dinosaur Yoshi.

Currently, the film’s production is nearly complete. The creators at **Illumination** are just finishing up the sound design and music. It is worth noting that directors **Aaron Horvath** and **Michael Jelenic** have returned, with **Matthew Fogel** responsible for the script.

In the latest trailer, the filmmakers also announced a change in the premiere date. The release of **»Super Mario Galaxy»** is now set for April 1, instead of the previously scheduled March 3.
