Nikolich on Koyta: Scoring in Austria Easier Than in Russia

The head coach of Moscow’s CSKA, **Marko Nikolic**, shared his views on the attacking performance of **Sekou Koita**, who has recently faced challenges in scoring.

“I’m pleased with how Koita performed in St. Petersburg. As for his goal-scoring, I have no doubt he will find the net for CSKA. However, we shouldn’t expect him to be a prolific scorer. His statistics in the Austrian league were impressive, but scoring there is much easier compared to Russia, where teams defend more aggressively and closely,” Nikolic told Bobsoccer.

Throughout his professional career, Sekou has played for clubs such as “Liefering,” “Wolfsberg,” and “Salzburg,” among others.

In the current season, Koita has participated in 21 matches for CSKA across all competitions, during which he has managed to net one goal and provide one assist. According to information from the online platform Transfermarkt, the market value of the 25-year-old player is €3 million.
