New Screenshots of Gang of Dragon: The Crime Action Game from the Creator of the Yakuza Series

A couple of weeks ago, during the award ceremony of The Game Awards 2025, former head of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and creator of the Yakuza series, Toshihiro Nagoshi, unveiled his new game—an action crime thriller titled Gang of Dragon, featuring Ma Dong-seok in the lead role. Following the release of the debut trailer, the developer shared new screenshots of the project.

The relatively young team at Nagoshi Studio, established under the umbrella of NetEase in 2021, is responsible for creating Gang of Dragon. Alongside Nagoshi, the team includes several talents from SEGA and Square Enix.

The main setting for the game is Kabukichō, the famed red-light district of Tokyo, which also serves as the inspiration for Kamurocho from Yakuza. Details regarding the plot are scarce at this time. What is known is that Ma Dong-seok will portray a high-ranking member of a Korean crime syndicate. In terms of gameplay, the creators promise a third-person action experience featuring melee combat, firearms, and vehicle use.

Currently, there is no release date for Gang of Dragon. The game is announced exclusively for PC on Steam, and it will not have a Russian localization.
