Mythical Games и World объединяются для борьбы с ботами через уникальную идентификацию пользователей Translation: Mythical Games and World Join Forces to Combat Bots Through Unique User Identification

Web3 initiatives such as World and the global company Mythical Games have come together to verify genuine users in gaming and filter out bots.

As part of this collaboration, the gaming firm will engage its users with Sam Altman’s project and utilize the Proof of Human technology for those registering or identifying themselves to participate in games like NFL Rivals, FIFA Rivals, and Pudgy Party.

“While bots can be used in gaming, they are also utilized to manipulate the game economy, gain unfair advantages, and earn rewards that should go to real players,” the companies stated.

It has been reported that nearly 75% of players are dissatisfied with the involvement of automated systems that make gaming less enjoyable.

“Millions of users participate in Mythical’s products not only because they are engaging, but also because the platform allows them to genuinely own and trade their assets. The integration of Proof of Human technology ensures fairness and transparency in the economy,” the companies assert.

Additionally, the game studio will launch its own network on top of the World Chain—an L3 blockchain.

World is a project supported by Sam Altman, which provides users with unique World ID identifiers after scanning their iris. Over 17 million individuals have already joined the initiative.

In July 2024, the team launched an L2 solution—World Chain.

Based in Los Angeles, Mythical operates at the intersection of the gaming industry and blockchain. They create Web3 games where users can own, sell, and trade in-game items. The company was founded in 2018 by alumni from Activision, Blizzard, and Oculus.

Digital identification is a contemporary trend emerging in several countries. Various services enable citizens to use electronic documents via online platforms, but they pose risks to personal security.

In an April article, World noted that bots have become a global issue in the gaming industry, with their activity rising significantly alongside advancements in artificial intelligence.

A survey of 800 Americans indicated that automated systems are present in nearly all multiplayer games, with 70% of gamers encountering them regularly.

While 20% of respondents believe bots enhance the gaming experience, the majority hold the opposite view, seeing them as detrimental.

Similar results have been observed in other countries. In Germany, Indonesia, Poland, South Korea, and Latin American nations, most users also consider bots harmful.

The World team emphasizes that their solution can address this issue—World ID functions like a CAPTCHA that is AI-resistant. It “anonymously verifies that the user is a unique individual online.”

Additionally, in October, thousands of clone tokens from popular blockchains such as Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain emerged on the World project’s network.
