Murray Reflects on Training with the Big Three: Federer Stopped After a Year or Two

British tennis player, former world No. 1, two-time Olympic champion, and three-time Grand Slam winner, Andy Murray, shared how he utilized practice sessions with the players from the «Big Three,» including Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic, to improve his game during his career.

«I initially practiced with all three of them – Nadal, Djokovic, and Federer. However, Federer stopped training with me after about a year or two. He no longer wanted to practice together and never trained with Djokovic or Nadal either, viewing them as rivals.

Training with them allowed me to gauge the level of my game. However, I didn’t train with them in the days leading up to important matches. I took advantage of those sessions a few weeks before major tournaments,» Murray mentioned in a video on the YouTube channel Stephen Hendry Cue Tips.
