Moscow Exchange Launches Bitcoin Futures Trading with iShares ETF from BlackRock

On June 4, trading of futures for the shares of the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF by BlackRock commenced on the Moscow Exchange, as indicated by data from the platform.

The product, listed under the ticker IBIT, is priced in US dollars, while settlements occur in Russian rubles.

Trading is exclusively available to qualified investors, with the first series of contracts set to expire on September 19.

At the time of this writing, nearly 6,000 transactions have been executed within a price range of $61.09 to $65.

According to SoSoValue, the assets under management of the ETF traded on Nasdaq exceed $70 billion. The closing price at the end of the session on June 3 was $60.4.

Recall that earlier this month, Sberbank announced the launch of bitcoin bonds, which are available to qualified investors in the over-the-counter market.
