MIMESIS Cooperative Horror Surpasses 1 Million Copies Sold with Exciting New Update

In the realm of hit and successful cooperative games, there’s a new entry: the survival horror game MIMESIS, which has sold over 1 million copies. This milestone has been achieved within just 50 days since its early access launch. Additionally, the game has received an update that enhances AI behavior and made improvements to its environments.

According to a press release, MIMESIS has become the second million-selling title for the publisher Krafton in 2025. The first was the life simulation game inZOI (which, by the way, also originated in early access). The cooperative horror game is performing exceptionally well in the media landscape, as user-generated clips have propelled MIMESIS to the top of the gaming category on YouTube in several regions.

Regarding the update, the developers at ReLU Games have introduced a host of enhancements:

MIMESIS is now available on Steam through early access. The game’s official release took place in October 2025, and it offers a text-based Russian localization. A standout feature of MIMESIS is the introduction of mimics that can imitate the behavior of your teammates and even speak in their voices.
