Mike Malone Breaks Silence Following Departure from Denver Nuggets

Mike Malone has publicly addressed his departure from the position of head coach of the Denver Nuggets for the first time. The team management made the decision to part ways with him on April 8.

«Ten years ago, I was given an amazing opportunity to become the head coach of the Denver Nuggets. At that time, I had no idea of the profound impact it would have on the next decade of my life. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Kroenke family, all our wonderful players, and my incredibly talented coaching staff. It has been an honor to work alongside you every day. Helping Denver win its first NBA title is an accomplishment I will always cherish. Denver is my home, and it has been a privilege to serve as a coach here,» reads Malone’s statement as reported by the Denver Post.
