Meteorologist Vilfand Predicts Warm Weathers Return to Moscow by Mid-April

The scientific supervisor of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, shared insights about the weather in Moscow for the upcoming days. According to him, a return to warmer temperatures is not anticipated until the second half of April, as reported by «RIA Novosti.»

In the meantime, residents of the capital can expect another snowfall, set to begin on Monday, April 7, and last until Tuesday.

Roman Vilfand cautioned that the upcoming snowfall will bring a significant amount of precipitation—amounting to half to the full monthly norm. This may lead to an increase in snow cover by 10 to 15 centimeters. It will only be closer to April 15-16 that temperatures are expected to rise to between +10 and +12 degrees Celsius.
