Honor Watch 5 Ultra has made its debut in China alongside the Honor Magic V5. This new smartwatch is available in three different colors and boasts a grade 5 titanium casing with sapphire glass. It features a 1.5-inch AMOLED screen and includes various health monitoring capabilities like ECG and heart rate tracking. The Watch 5 Ultra also supports multiple sports modes and has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Pricing for Honor Watch 5 Ultra

The Honor Watch 5 Ultra is available for CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 23,300) in the Speedster (black) variant with a fluororubber strap. The Commander (brown) variant with a leather strap is priced at CNY 2,299 (about Rs. 27,000). The luxurious Strategist version, featuring a Titanium metal strap, is listed at CNY 2,899 (around Rs. 34,000). It is presently for sale in China.

Specifications of Honor Watch 5 Ultra

The Honor Watch 5 Ultra features a circular 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display, boasting a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a pixel density of 310ppi, with an always-on display option. The screen is protected by sapphire glass and the watch case is constructed from aerospace-grade titanium alloy. This smartwatch includes eSIM functionality and supports Bluetooth calling, enabling direct calls from the wrist.

Equipped with two buttons, the smartwatch supports various functions including long and short presses. The Honor Watch 5 Ultra provides heart rate surveillance along with an ECG sensor that delivers immediate ECG readings. It is designed to detect potential heart health issues and assist users in managing their heart conditions. Additional sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, air pressure sensor, gyroscope sensor, geomagnetic sensor, and another ambient light sensor.

With 64MB of RAM and 8GB of storage, the Honor Watch 5 Ultra has an IP68 rating and a 5ATM (50-meter) certification. It features the company’s Yoyo AI assistant and operates on MagicOS 9.0.

For fitness enthusiasts, the Honor Watch 5 Ultra accommodates various sports modes, including outdoor running, outdoor walking, outdoor cycling, indoor running, mountain hiking, swimming in pools, badminton, and snowboarding, among others.

This smartwatch can connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth 5.2. Other connectivity options include NFC, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BeiDou, and QZSS. It also provides support for speakers and microphones, being compatible with devices running Android 9.0 and higher, as well as versions 13.0 and above.

Packing a 480mAh battery, the Honor Watch 5 Ultra is claimed to last up to 15 days on a regular charge without eSIM usage. When always-on display is activated, the battery life is reported to extend up to seven days. For eSIM usage, Honor suggests a battery life of three days under standard conditions. The device supports wireless charging and measures 46.3×46.3×11.4mm while weighing approximately 51.8g without the strap.
