Leclerc: At Ferrari, Winning is the Only Standard of Success

Twenty-eight-year-old Formula 1 driver from Monaco, **[Charles Leclerc](https://www.racingnews365.com/tags/26567-charles-leclerc)**, who represents Ferrari, shared his thoughts on the 2025 season.

“Finishing second in the Constructors’ Championship? That’s not enough, not at all. I believe that when you race for a team like Ferrari, winning is the only outcome that’s truly acceptable. However, it’s also true that we face very, very strong opponents, alongside teams with a rich history in this sport that are unique in their own way. So, it’s not an easy task.

Yet, I think when you work for such an incredible brand as Ferrari, simply aiming for something less than victory isn’t sufficient; you have to focus on winning. That said, considering where we started the season and where we are now, it’s been a good year. There has been significant progress throughout the season, especially since it was quite challenging to understand what we needed to do with this new car at the beginning of the year. But yes, our goal should now be to compete for second place in the Constructors’ Championship. Looking ahead to next year, we will definitely set our sights on even higher ambitions,” Leclerc stated, as reported by Racingnews365.
