Konami Plans to Release a New Silent Hill Game Every Year

Quite some time ago, Konami entered into partnerships with external teams, ensuring a steady stream of releases for the Silent Hill franchise. In an interview with the Japanese outlet Famitsu, series producer Motoi Okamoto revealed that the company aims to launch a new Silent Hill title each year.

So far, Konami has been on track with this plan: the remake of Silent Hill 2 by Bloober Team was released in October 2024, and Silent Hill f, developed by NeoBards Entertainment, is set for September 2025. Next in line are Townfall from Screen Burn and the remake of the original Silent Hill by Bloober Team. Furthermore, there are unannounced titles in the works, according to the producer.

Currently, there are no official release dates for either Townfall (although a leaked release date exists) or the updated Silent Hill. However, if we take the producer’s comments into account, these games may be released in 2026 and 2027, respectively, unless Konami has some surprises up its sleeve.
